Who gets Cowork?
Claude Help lists Cowork for paid plans: Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. Free Claude chat access is not enough. Team and Enterprise workspaces follow organization settings described in Cowork for Team and Enterprise.

Platform nuances
- Desktop: Claude Desktop supports Cowork on macOS and Windows. Local folders, browser, and apps need Desktop open and connected. Start with Getting Started or the Windows hub.
- Web / mobile beta: Currently covers Max, Team, and Enterprise, with Pro rolling out gradually—same framing as What Is Claude Cowork?.
- Cloud vs local: Cloud sessions are the default. Desktop is still required for on-device resources. See Cloud vs local sessions.
- Preview features: Computer Use and Dispatch are research preview/beta capabilities with narrower plan notes (commonly Pro and Max). Check each feature page before you rely on them.
